Sponsors

Dear Past Player/Supporter,

100 Club / UFC Membership

Over the past five seasons the club’s administration has sought to augment the financial support received from its corporate sponsors with the advent of the “100 Club” – whereby past players and supporters can contribute to the club through a minimum donation of $100. Such has been the success of the initiative that it has now become an important and relied upon source of operating revenue for the club, with the funds generated ensuring that membership fees remain competitive and that players and coaches are furnished with all the equipment they require in the search of on-field success. This year we have decided to recognise this contribution by supporters with club membership. As we see with AFL clubs membership is very important to each clubs survival and the UFC is no different so please get on board and circulate to your fellow former teammates. We are targeting 150 non-playing members for season 2010.

As part of the 2010 Membership you will be extended an invitation to the Members day. This season’s dedicated function will be held in conjunction with the double header at McGillivray on 24th July which will see all sides playing at home that day. All Members who attend on this day will go into the draw to win a number of great prizes! This event will showcase the UFC and will give you an opportunity to witness Tom Matson’s A grade team in action whilst catching up with past players and supporters. This is a fantastic opportunity to contribute to a club that holds a special place in all of our hearts and witness the current crop of players carry on the rich tradition of the University Football Club. We are also planning kids activities such as a bouncy castle to make the event more family friendly.

We hope that you take up this opportunity to assist in providing much needed sponsorship to the Club for season 2010 and we thank you in advance for your ongoing support of the club. You can make a donation to the sum of your choice by filling out the attached form with your credit card details. Alternatively, you can make a cheque payable to the “University Football Club”.

Forms can be scanned and e-mailed to cwiese@portbouvardltd.com.au or cheques can be mailed to:

Attention: Mr C Wies

I would like to acknowledge the contributions of our 2010 Major Sponsor Amcom Telecom who have now been major sponsors for over 9 years and we thank Tony Grist and the Amcom team for their continued support. Our sponsors from 2009 who continue their support are as follows: Fleet Network, Subiaco Sports, The Pizza Lounge, GolfBox, Transit, BDO , Komodo Capital, Select National, Powerplay Sports, Edwards Wines and Steinepreis Paganin and we welcome the following sponsors on board in 2010 – Kannon Recruitment (Phil Scott), AusAmerican Mining Limited (Jim Malone), CKY Media (Nicky Dunin), One for the Road Coffee (Scott Paterson) and William Buck (Robin Judd).  With the seemingly ever-increasing running costs levied on a club of our size, we simply could not operate without their generous support. Please continue to offer business to these organisations whenever possible.

If you have any queries regarding the “100 Club” or sponsorship generally, or if you or someone you know is interested in becoming a major sponsor of the Club, please contact any one of the following committee members of the Club.

Peter Toll (President) – 0411 744 066

Chris Wiese (Treasurer) – 0402 005 961

We look forward to seeing you down at the club throughout the season.

Kind regards,

Peter Toll, President, University of Western Australia Football Club Inc.
